Ever wondered what goes into making an award-winning Gelato? Well you’re in luck, as Scott visits a Gelato producer in the Helena Valley to learn exactly that.

  • Mimmo is the master of Gelato and his passion is the creamy goodness he creates in his Gelato laboratory.
  • In the country for 32 years, he knows what goes into creating a great Gelato.
  • Gelato is made from fresh milk, sugar and a few other ingredients combines this with flavours that he loves, creating amazing flavour sensations.
  • The Gelato mix is put into a batch freezer, which mixes the ingredients, chills it down and makes the Gelato.
  • After 7 minutes, it’s time to release the Gelato and combine it with flavours in various layers, chill it for a while and then it’s time to taste.
  • 7 gold medals, a silver, champion sorbet and champion Gelato are just a number of awards Mimmo has received for his Gelato.
  • Mimmo’s philosophy is when you love something it no longer becomes a job or chore, the time spent on something just melts away.
  • Products are all about the love you put into them and what is not to love about Gelato.
